My first idea stems from working in retail, and has a bit of some random thoughts that go through my head. It involves a man yelling at a wild deer to get a job, so naturally the deer gets a job at a fast food chain. While working, the deer encounters (absentmindedly) every type of customer that ever graced this earth. Working retail sucks, and this would be a fun way to poke fun at the service industry, and also make comments about the behaviours of customers. I think it would be best with flat simple characters and simple backgrounds. this would allow for the exaggeration of the customers features.
My second idea involves public transportation, as I am reliant on SEPTA to function. During my time using public transit, similar to retail I have encountered many types of people. I've been cramped on buses and trains, and even hit on by creepy old men, and I feel as though everyone could relate to these kind of stories when they speak about mass transit. This again would be to make fun of people I have encountered while using mass transit. I'd probably animate this traditionally, as to keep the grittiness of the paper, as it may not be dirty per se, but would represent septa's dirtiness.
My last idea is inspired by the feature films I watch now and the ones I watched as a kid. This is more of a "cuter" idea, as it features a fox trying to be an evil warlock, but he isn't good at it. I wanted to convey the idea that if you aren't good at something at first but you can keep working at it to get better, (see: drawing) but also that sometimes it is equally important to know when to quit. in keeping with my inspiration, I would want to make it as clean as possible, given my time constraint, with emphasis on light and shadow.

In ten years I imagine myself as working as a character animator for feature films. Becoming an character animator is my main goal at the moment and as such I am taking large strides toward that goal. Likewise, I would also want to be working on personal projects, whether it is a comic book or short animations. Ultimately I would like to be working on productions that feature children as their main and target audience.
